  • 300+ Social Media Accounts

    With Kent State University owning more than 300 official departmental social media accounts, overseeing, guiding and assisting this group of internal users (150+) is an integral part of my role as Kent State’s first social media/community manager.

  • Strategies, Tactics & Trends

    In an effort to develop structure and governance, upon my arrival at KSU, I created the university’s first Social Media Action Committee and Social Media User Group. The committee determines strategies, tactics and discusses challenges and trends within the industry. The user group receives regular content, updates and university strategies, and has the opportunity to collaborate and connect with other users.

  • Student Ambassador Program

    Lastly, in an effort to better connect with the student body, I developed a social media student ambassador program, where students interested in social media can learn more about how the university uses social media and have the opportunity to be a part of the brand through their personal social accounts.
